I’m Denice Woller—portrait artist, storyteller, and legacy documentarian based in Mankato, Minnesota, working from the hayloft of a century-old barn. My heart is grounded in the familiar rhythms of rural life, but I’m often called beyond it—following wherever God leads, traveling far and wide to capture the beauty of the lives He’s written, one story, one season at a time.

For over two decades, I’ve photographed the lives of Rural Americans and high school seniors, capturing the grit, beauty, and authenticity of each season of life. Whether it’s a generational farm or a teen on the brink of adulthood, my work is grounded in honoring real stories—lived in fields, kitchens, barns, and backyards.

With degrees in photography and media arts—and more than 20 years of teaching photography and journalism at Bethany Lutheran College—I bring both artistry and intention to every session. My goal with each person in front of my lens is to capture their true essence by encouraging them to Be Authentically You.

Portraits aren’t just images—they’re lasting reminders of who we are and what we hold dear. I’m incredibly grateful God has called me to this work. It’s an honor to preserve the stories that matter most—those that reflect both where we came from and who we’re becoming.
